Plowshares is Central New York’s premiere multicultural craftsfair, featuring over 120 local craftspeople and community organizations.
A beautiful community of activists, conscientious consumers and fair traders gather for a weekend of commerce and communing at the Plowshares Craftsfair and Peace Festival. Plowshares is an opportunity to step into the kind of world we’re working so hard to create: a place of justice, of peace, of compassion, of environmental sustainability. Plowshares is a labor of love that comes together thanks to the help of many volunteers.
Please help by printing and distributing posters and handbills:
- 8.5×11 color poster
- 8.5×11 b&w poster
- Quarter sheet handbills (you would need to cut them since they are 4 to a sheet)
- or come to the SPC office and pick them up!
We are optimistic that Plowshares will be able to go on as planned (although likely with some Covid precautions in place), and we are excited to announce that we will be returning this year to our former long-term home, Nottingham High School! While many of you voiced positive things about our new State Fair location last year, we are unable to return due to building and plumbing issues at the Science and Industry Building. We hope to consider returning to the Fairgrounds in the future, but we are happy Nottingham has welcomed us back this year to allow us a newly renovated, trusted venue to hold Plowshares in.
